How To Commission Me
Step 1: Choose one or a few photographs of your pet that you like and we will then discuss together which one would be best to use as the reference for the painting.
Tips for choosing good photographs:
– High definition, the higher the better!
– Your pet looking directly at the camera.
– Best with natural light and the sun behind you.
– A close up photo of your pet will allow me to see more detail and capture his character.
Step 2: Once we are both happy with the chosen photograph, I will be able to give you an estimate of when it will be ready (a single painting can take me four weeks so if I have others on the go don’t be surprised if it’s a while!). At this point a 50% non-refundable deposit will be required before I start your portrait. I will keep in touch with you while I am working on it, and send you some pictures of the painting as I work on it.
Step 3: Upon finishing the painting I will send you a photo for confirmation. The remaining amount will now be payable and after receiving the money I can ship out your painting. Be advised once the painting is finished, it will take about 1 week for it to dry completely and then have some protective varnish applied. So please order in plenty of time if you are ordering for a special occasion.
